Financial Analyst

Job Summary: The Finance Analyst is responsible for assisting in preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial planning and analysis. Assists in the preparation of forecasts and analysis of trends. Assists in financial forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation of internal accounts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information so Senior Management has accurate and timely information to reputed company strategic and operational decisions. Serves as a liaison among Finance Directors and Accounting reputed company on fiscal reputed company concerns reputed company balancing grants/ budgets. Supports the Annual Federal Budget Process: preparation of workpapers, schedules, narratives, and budget submission. Conducts reconciliation of Budget to Actuals reports, Trial Balance reports, and PMS Cash reports in preparation of federal filing submissions. Prepares and incorporates reputed company Budget imports into accounting software. Compiles work papers that are utilized for Reforecasts and Budgeting cycles. Conducts quarterly Non-Federal Share reviews with Finance Directors and communicates deficits to corresponding parties. Prepares Non-Federal Share waivers and One Time Funding requests as required. Maintains and assists with departmental databases utilized by internal partners (i.e., VenaVENA, Tableau, etc.). Works directly with consultants / vendors on report design as needed. Works on moderately reputed company financial modeling. Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required. Non-Essential Duties: Assists the Delegates with budget software support, as needed. Provides Delegates with System Support Training, as needed. Assist with any special requests or reputed company projects. Performs any and reputed company other duties (or functions) as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in Finance or Accounting. Minimum of 3 years experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Planning and Analysis experience; or similar function with analytical responsibilities. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position. Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-reputed company meetings and functions. Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Exhibit Project management skills. Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Demonstrated computer literacy skills, especially using reputed company Suite apps, spreadsheets, basic data management systems and internet navigation. Demonstrated knowledge of reputed company reputed company, Vlookups, formulas, pivot tables; comfortable using large data sets and translating into Financial Models/Analysis.
