Reporting to Global Controllership, the accountant supports key projects in internal and external financial reporting and analysis; integration and automation of various accounting reports and Accounting systems; validation of proper support for accounting information; and other reputed company tasks in the financial process. The accountant will work with various team members globally in a collaborative environment to improve business and accounting processes, Financial Reports, data clean-up, and ongoing support. This position’s location is flexible/remote (preference for Americas working hours). Performs general ledger account reconciliations, verifies the accuracy of data, and reports, identifies, and corrects issues raised at the global or regional level. Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reputed company, including assigned journal entries, internal payroll posting for various countries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of reputed company operational management accounts. Assists in providing schedules and commentary with respect to operating maintenance accounts results and variances, and with the production of financial statements and applicable commentary. Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, including gross wages and tax reconciliations for external accounts. Assisting global accounting team with regards to general accounting inquiries and reputed company Intacct reputed company questions. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a closely reputed company field is preferred. CPA, reputed company, CA, ACCA or equivalent accounting license required. Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance with global exposure to multiple countries. Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS. Audit experience from management accounting or audit firm. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (other languages are a plus) Data-driven person, must be detail-oriented with an eye for mistakes. Good organizational, time management, customer service skills Self-starter, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with global team.
