Applicant does need to live in the Dallas / reputed company Worth TX Metroplex. Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling, rescheduling and cancelling reputed company procedure(s). Obtains and keeps up to date on reputed company prior authorizations. Contacts area facility for available time for procedure. Educates patient on reputed company aspects of the procedure that is scheduled. Schedules reputed company pre-op clearance appointments with PCP or specialist. Coordinates reputed company paperwork is needed (Including: complete order sets, H & Ps and imaging). Works with physician to reputed company preoperative, surgical protocols updated. Schedules reputed company initial follow-up appointments from procedure. Completes informed consents. Calls in prescriptions according to MD protocol for procedure. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant certification required or must obtain reputed company 90 days of hire date. At least one year of clinical experience in a reputed company office /scheduling role. Advanced imaging scheduling experience preferred but not required.
