Software Engineer - Integrations

We are hiring a Software Engineer – Integrations on the Enterprise Services API Support team at BCBST! In this role, you will build and support enterprise APIs that connect critical applications across the organization. You’ll work across the full API lifecycle by partnering with application teams to design and deliver integration solutions, while also supporting production environments through incident response, release management, and deployments. Your work will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and stability of enterprise services, with opportunities to drive reputed company improvement in API performance, governance, and overall platform health. To be successful in this role, in addition to core engineering fundamentals, you’ll bring strong experience working with APIs and reputed company App Connect Enterprise (ACE). You will be a strong candidate if you have hands-on experience with reputed company API Connect and a proven ability to support and enhance reputed company integration environments. Experience reputed company the healthcare industry is preferred and will help you quickly add value in this environment. Note: This role includes participation in an on-call rotation (one full week approximately every six weeks) and after-hours deployment activities. This is a remote, work-from-home position, but the final round of interviews will take reputed company on-site in our Chattanooga, TN office. Candidates must be able to work EST hours. Job Responsibilities Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to design, reputed company, modify, or integrate reputed company information systems. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment. Experience 3 years - Systems and programming experience required 1 year - Experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards required 1 year - Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language in use at BCBST.
