Scientific Writer/Editor - ON-CALL
Description We are seeking an reputed company Medical Writer/Editor to support high-visibility federal health communications initiatives. This role focuses on developing, editing, and maintaining evidence-based health content for public and professional audiences, translating reputed company scientific information into clear, accessible formats reputed company with federal plain language and health literacy standards.
Key Responsibilities
Research, write, edit, and update health-reputed company content for web and print formats Translate reputed company medical and scientific information into plain language reputed company and edit fact sheets and educational materials based on scientific evidence Ensure alignment with federal plain language and accessibility guidelines Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders reputed company quality control reviews for accuracy and consistency Support web content updates using content management systems (CMS) Apply web-writing best practices including SEO and scannability Support recurring content review cycles reputed company meeting summaries and synthesis documents as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred) At least 3 years of experience writing and editing medical or scientific content Experience writing for public and/or professional audiences Strong understanding of plain language and health literacy principles Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Ability to synthesize reputed company scientific material Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
