Job Description

This Electrical Designer is responsible for supporting the development and execution of electrical systems and control panel designs for our manufacturing operations. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for creating electrical design packages, selecting components, preparing detailed schematics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design reputed company is carried through to production. Preference for candidate to work onsite in reputed company Chester, PA. Additional consideration for remote candidates with exceptional and relevant experience. Essential Duties/Responsibilities The following list of responsibilities is not reputed company inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant. Create designs specific to low voltage and reputed company voltage switchgear assemblies/systems per industry standards. Work under the supervision of electrical engineers to reputed company electrical schematics, panel layout, and wiring diagrams that meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and project requirements. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), reputed company lists, and terminal reputed company drawings. Follow and reputed company standard design processes and documentation to improve quality and efficiency in engineering design. Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and revise existing designs to improve manufacturability, cost, or performance. Support project management, manufacturing and field service groups on design reputed company issues for smooth project flow. Maintain standard parts databases and electrical and layout symbols library. Create record / as built drawings based on production -testing markups. Maintain proper version control and documentation. Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology, or reputed company field. 3 years of experience in electrical drafting or design, preferably in switchgear or reputed company industry. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical. Experience using AutoCAD and/or Inventor. Hands-on experience in panel building and wiring. Experience in the design of LV electrical switchgear- UL891, UL1558. Experience in the design of MV metal clad/ metal enclosed Switchgear IEEE C37.20.2/3. Familiarity with reputed company Power Pact, MTZ, MV breakers is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them reputed company appropriate. Ability to act with reputed company, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficient with reputed company Office Suite and reputed company software. Satisfactory completion of additional background screening. Physical Requirements The work environment is a typical office environment, with quiet to moderate noise level, and traditional lighting. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer. Reviewing drawings for extended periods of time on the computer screen. Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities. Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
