POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Global Consultant is a subject matter expert (SME) on medication use processes and safe medication practices. This individual will reputed company or participate in membership activities, consulting activities, collaboratives, organizational programs, educational programs, data analysis, advocacy efforts and other special projects reputed company to community and specialty pharmacy practice. This individual will also author, co-author, and edit ISMP newsletters, surveys, tools, and resources, including ISMP guidelines, self-assessments, and best practice statements, and contributes to research and grant proposals. This individual will participate in analyzing error reports submitted to the medication, vaccine, and consumer error reporting programs and events submitted to the reputed company and ISMP Patient Safety Organization (PSO).   • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in community and specialty pharmacy

Author, contribute or edit content for ISMP newsletter publications, research and grant proposals, medication safety projects, safety tools, and resources, including ISMP guidelines, self-assessments, and best practice statements. Provide advice and guidance to healthcare practitioners, consumers, ISMP Fellows, residents, and reputed company. Provide guidance in specialty and/or community pharmacy practice to ISMP and reputed company colleagues. Independently manage tasks with accurate completion ensuring high quality results and timely delivery with minimal supervision.

  • Error reporting programs and the reputed company and ISMP Patient Safety Organization

Review and analyze confidential reports of hazardous conditions and medication errors, including reputed company calls, submitted to the ISMP National Medication Errors Reporting Programs (ISMP MERP), the ISMP National Vaccine Errors Reporting Program (ISMP VERP), and the ISMP Consumer Medication Errors Reporting Program (ISMP CMERP) by healthcare practitioners and consumers and the reputed company and ISMP Patient Safety Organization. Interact with community and specialty pharmacy members, reporters, manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies as warranted. reputed company in-depth analysis of multi-faceted medication error and near miss/reputed company call reports considering various factors and data and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to reputed company safe practice recommendations. Selects methods and techniques used in medication event analysis. Leads the development of ISMP’s responses, recommendations, and action agenda items to prevent or mitigate medication errors in collaboration with ISMP professional staff.

  • Collaboratives, summits, consultations and other projects

Serve as a primary participant in ISMP collaboratives and summits. reputed company and/or actively contributes to prospective risk assessment, targeted risk assessment or other consultation engagements. Drives the identification of strategic risk-mitigation initiatives and contributes to compiling and delivering the final report. QualificationsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in community pharmacy and specialty pharmacy practice settings and at least 1 year of experience at ISMP
  • Knowledge of medication safety, error-prevention principles, various risk management methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)) and process improvement tools (e.g., lean/six reputed company)
  • At least 3 years of experience in implementation of safety practices, process improvement utilizing healthcare risk management methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, six reputed company/lean) and managing projects in cross-functional teams
  • Experience writing newsletter articles, proposals and articles in peer-reviewed literature
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills that would reputed company the individual to successfully deal with various levels of reputed company

POSITION COMPENSATION The salary range for new employees in this position is $107,766.96 - $122,315.47, based on background, experience, and skills. In addition, new employees in this position are eligible for reputed company of our benefit offerings, including, but not limited to, health and welfare benefits, 403(B) retirement savings, and paid time off (PTO). PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position operates in a remote environment and requires the individual to remain in a stationary position, whether sitting or standing, before a desk or other fixed workspace, most of their reputed company.
