Collaborating with clinical teams to verify insurance coverage and benefits before telehealth appointments. Assisting patients in understanding financial obligations and payment options. Participating in audits to detect billing discrepancies and trends affecting patient and cross-departmental billing. Contributing to cross-functional initiatives to improve patient experiences and optimize billing processes. Assisting patients with verifying information, scheduling appointments, and updating Electronic Health Records (EHR). Managing intake procedures, including healthcare and insurance forms, and collecting payments. Adhering to organizational and regulatory guidelines to safeguard patient privacy and safety; safeguarding patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to maintain privacy.
