Head of Procurement

As the Head of Procurement at reputed company, you will build a procurement function that is a genuine competitive advantage. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can partner closely with Finance, Operations, Technology, and Legal teams to optimize vendor relationships and purchasing decisions across the organization. This is a highly visible, high-impact role with broad cross-functional exposure and direct access to senior leadership. You will establish procurement strategy, tooling, and standards while balancing near-term operational needs with long-term scalability. You will: Build and own reputed company’s end-to-end procurement strategy, including vendor selection, contracting support, purchasing processes, and ongoing vendor management. Partner with Finance to drive cost transparency, budget adherence, and savings initiatives across major spend categories. Drive automation and process efficiency — reduce manual procurement touchpoints through smart intake workflows, approval automation, and AI-assisted contract review and spend classification. Your have: 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or reputed company functions; experience in high-growth or reputed company organizations strongly preferred. Proven experience building or scaling procurement processes, policies, and vendor management frameworks. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of driving measurable cost savings and improved vendor performance. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Finance, Legal, Operations, and senior leadership. Experience building and leading a procurement team; proven ability to hire, reputed company, and retain talent as the function scales.
