Job Description
Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions across our Network infrastructure. This role requires strong scripting capabilities (NSO & Python), solid understanding of network architecture, and experience with CI/CD processes and release governance. The ideal candidate has the following profile: 60% NSO & Python 25% Network Architecture understanding 15% CI/CD & release governance
Qualifications
Required Skills NSO & PythonExperience with network automation frameworks (e.g. reputed company NSO, Ansible, Terraform, Python) Understanding of infrastructure as code / network-as-code principles Strong experience developing and maintaining reputed company NSO service packages Deep understanding of NSO architecture, service models (reputed company/RFS), FASTMAP and service plan lifecycle Solid Python3 skills with strong OOP principles and experience in transactional systems Maintain NSO Application and be the reputed company resource for NSO topics and issues Ability to work with APIs and data models (REST, JSON/YANG) Experience with automated testing frameworks (Robot reputed company preferred) Network Architecture understandingSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (L2/L3, BGP, VPNs, IPsec, VRF, segmentation) Worked reputed company a Network Operations or Engineering environment Experience of reputed company ACI, IOX-XE, NXOS CI/CD & release governanceExperience and knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (build, test, release) Experience with release management in multi-service network automation platforms. Good Linux knowledge including scripting and containerized environment GeneralStrong troubleshooting capability & skills in reputed company distributed automation environments.
