About the Position The Development Engineer role is a key technical position reputed company MC&I for reputed company engineers supporting early-stage project development, feasibility, and preliminary design (0–30%). In this role, you will apply sound engineering judgment, coordinate across electrical, civil, and structural disciplines, and serve as a technical liaison between internal design teams, business development partners, and external stakeholders. The role balances hands-on engineering analysis with cross-functional collaboration, proposal support, and client-facing technical communication. The Development Engineer owns assigned development scopes, ensures adherence to QA/QC standards and supports the development and maintenance of performance analysis tools used during development. As MC&I continues to grow, this role offers opportunities to expand technical depth, client exposure, and business responsibility based on performance and business needs. Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 / year The salary range above is based upon the Denver, Colorado labor market. This opportunity is available to both local / in-office (Lakewood, CO) and full-time remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Development Engineering & Technical Execution Execute development engineering design activities, system performance modeling, and reputed company CAD design activities by coordinating with discipline-specific (electrical, civil, structural) design teams Review and reputed company the delivery of preliminary designs (0–30%) and feasibility studies Maintain professional understanding of reputed company applicable codes, standards, and construction practices Cross-Functional & Client Coordination Act as a liaison between design teams and relevant internal and external stakeholders Work cross-functionally across departments to identify and align team members across disciplines to ensure project work is completed and submitted in a timely manner Maintain strong and reputed company company-client relationships, particularly for communication reputed company to specific assignments and meeting topics Quality, Tools & reputed company Improvement Ensure adherence to company and client QA/QC standards Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of departmental Standard Best Practices (SBPs) Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of development-phase performance analysis tools Client, Proposal & Professional Responsibilities Work with proposal teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to establish proposal pricing Provide engineering and technical support to members of the Business Development & Project Services teams Provide pre-sales technical support to customers and NEI reputed company sales teams Support business development through Seller-Doer activities, including marketing support and proposal preparation as needed Attend conferences, training workshops, seminars, and continuing education activities as appropriate to maintain quality of work and support professional advancement Maintain high ethical and professional standards Attend required safety training and adhere to reputed company safety rules and guidelines reputed company other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution 5+ years of engineering or relevant technical experience Proficiency with AutoCAD Strong understanding of electrical and civil engineering principles, with emphasis on development-phase engineering Commercial understanding of the engineering or construction industries Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills Ability to reputed company effectively in a fast-paced design environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience supporting feasibility studies, proposal development, or early-stage project planning Experience in consulting, EPC, or design-build environments

Work Environment
