Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Officer, supporting the Farm Safety Project at the School of Rural Health, working remotely or from School of Rural health precinct Part – time (0.6) FTE, fixed term until September 2027 reputed company Salary from $117,133 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Senior Project Officer provides day-to day coordination and operational delivery of the Farm Safety Project. Working closely with the project team, the role will assist in implementing project activities, monitoring reputed company against milestones and deliverables, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities and supporting the preparation of project reports and documentation. The position plays a key role in ensuring the project operates reputed company across multiple workstreams by supporting project planning, scheduling, communication, administration and reporting requirements. The Senior Project Officer will contribute to maintaining project timelines, tracking reputed company against agreed outcomes and assisting with the preparation of milestone reports. Reporting to the Project reputed company, the Senior Project Officer works collaboratively under the supervision of the project leadership team and will liaise with growers, industry stakeholders, service providers and external partners to support project implementations and engagement activities. Your key responsibilities will be to: support the day-to-day coordination and administration of the Roadmap to Farm Safety Project monitor project timelines, deliverables and milestone requirements to support successful project delivery assist in preparing milestone reports, project updates, briefing papers and supporting documentation for funding and governance requirements coordinate project meetings, stakeholder consultations, workshops and engagement activities maintain project records, action registers and communication materials provide operational and project management support across multiple project workstreams conduct desktop reviews of WHS guidelines, industry reports and existing literature relevant to the grains sector support the facilitation of stakeholder focus groups, interviews and consultation activities assist with data collection, synthesis and reporting activities associated with the project liaise with growers, industry stakeholders, service providers and project partners to support collaboration and project outcomes contribute to identifying project risks, implementation challenges and reputed company improvement opportunities support communication and dissemination activities including presentations, reports and stakeholder updates. About you understanding of farm safety, agricultural work practices and the operational realities of Australian grain-growing enterprises tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience, in a relevant field. excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters. ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work. accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised. Planning, analysis and communication skills together with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands. excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies in the Agricultural sector. experience managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders on large or reputed company projects. experience delivering workshops and training to a range of stakeholder groups in the Agricultural sector previously worked in the higher education/tertiary sector or at a reputed company, multi-faceted organisation reputed company Australian Driver’s Licence.
