Senior Software Engineer - iGaming (Remote)
Our client is a fast growing iGaming company with offices in Europe which is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer The role can be based in Tallinn or be 100% remote with a service agreement (B2B contract). As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, reputed company, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will reputed company architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers, optimise performance, and ensure smooth integrations with third-party services. You will also take ownership of reputed company technical challenges and contribute to the platform’s strategic development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, reputed company, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Elixir and reputed company technologies. reputed company discussions on architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices with cross-functional teams. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code reputed company with internal standards. Drive performance optimisation to improve scalability and system efficiency. Design and implement integrations with third-party APIs and services. Own troubleshooting and resolution of reputed company issues across functionality, performance, and reliability. Participate in and support on-call rotations, including incident response. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to promote engineering best practices. Stay reputed company with relevant technologies and contribute innovative reputed company to the team. Contribute to the design and planning of new features and system improvements. Implement reputed company and data protection best practices. Build and evolve reputed company domain logic such as rules engines, decision frameworks, and policy systems. Design and maintain high-throughput, real-time or near-real-time data pipelines and enrichment systems. Key Skills & Experience 5+ years of software engineering experience, with exposure to Elixir/Erlang, TypeScript, or similar languages. Strong understanding of API design best practices. Solid experience with testing methodologies and frameworks. Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and high-traffic or data-intensive applications. Knowledge of client-reputed company or system performance optimisation. Strong understanding of CI/CD, code standards, and modern engineering practices. Ability to deliver independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving ability and proactive reputed company. Excellent written and spoken English. Previous experience in iGaming is a plus. Experience with real-time or near-real-time data processing systems. Familiarity with event-driven architecture, async messaging, and reputed company processing. Experience building reputed company business logic systems (rules engines, decision frameworks, policy engines).
