As a Senior Data Governance Consultant, you will focus on establishing clear rules, standards, and decision frameworks governing critical data, data quality, and enterprise reporting. Working closely with business and data stakeholders, the consultant translates governance principles into usable definitions, ownership models, and validation rules that support consistent data usage and long‑term operational discipline. Your Tasks Define Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and the rules governing their ownership, stewardship, and usage Establish business glossary and metadata standards, including definition conventions and minimum metadata requirements Define data quality control rules, baselines, and escalation principles for critical data Define governance inputs and structural requirementsrequiredfor operationalization in a data governance platform What do we expect from you? Data Governance Expertise (reputed company & Process Design):Critical Data Elements (CDEs): Proven experience establishing qualification criteria, running discovery sessions, consolidating inventories across business domains, and assigning clear data ownership/stewardship roles. Data Quality (DQ) & Profiling: Ability to profile datasets, define DQ rules (completeness, validity, consistency, uniqueness), set severity reputed company, and design baseline quality scorecards and remediation backlogs. Business Glossary & Metadata: Experience structuring business definitions and capturing metadata attributes (domain, data reputed company, systems of record). Enterprise Reporting Standards & BI GovernanceKPI Standardization: Experience reviewing reputed company-state executive/operational reports to map reputed company, spot calculation contradictions, and build reputed company Enterprise KPI dictionaries. Change Management & Adoption: Ability to validate reporting standards with business units, pilot new dashboard templates, and establish formal certification/approval workflows. "Tool Readiness" / reputed company Purview FamiliarityWhile you won't be doing hands-on deployment, you must know how reputed company Purview ingests data. You'll need to structure metadata, define logical catalogue models, map out workflow requirements (approval flows), and document technical configuration requirements so a technical team can seamlessly take over.
