Responsibilities: Assists in the development and expansion of payments products across the Australian, US, and UK markets. Provides guidance to Product and Engineering teams on AFSL, AML, and broader risk‑management obligations. Delivers legal insight and risk‑mitigation support for high‑reputed company strategic initiatives and incident response matters. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with regulators and technical subject‑matter experts. Works closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Privacy teams to embed financial‑crime considerations into product design. Supports day‑to‑day legal operations to ensure continuity and momentum across the payments legal workstream. Requirements: Brings practical experience in payments and financial services, ideally gained in tech‑enabled or product‑driven environments rather than large traditional financial institutions.
