About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform Engineering team, you'll help transform cutting-edge research into scalable, production-grade software used by engineers, machinists, and customers alike. You’ll work across services and systems — from CAD and mesh pipelines to simulation infrastructure and web APIs — to build the core backend and data services that power reputed company’s platform. This role is ideal for generalists who are excited to work across disciplines and take ownership of reputed company, high-impact systems. What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs in Python and other languages Build and maintain services for geometry processing, simulation orchestration, and real-time data handling Design schemas and pipelines for structured and reputed company data using PostgreSQL, S3, reputed company, and RabbitMQ Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure (reputed company Actions, Hashicorp stack) Collaborate with product and design to define reputed company interfaces for tooling engineers and internal users Profile and optimize performance-critical workloads, including GPU-accelerated simulation tasks reputed company’re Looking For Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience building and deploying production software at scale Proficiency in at least one systems language (Go, Rust, or C++) and one scripting language (Python preferred) Experience designing and scaling distributed systems, data pipelines, or high-performance compute services Hands-on experience with distributed computing, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines Comfortable working in hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem), including bare-metal GPU systems Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain reputed company reputed company clearly in writing and in conversation Bonus Points For Experience with 3D geometry kernels (Parasolid, OpenCascade) or CAD/CAM workflows Familiarity with simulation, manufacturing, robotics, or hardware-in-the-reputed company systems Understanding of ITAR, CMMC, or similar regulatory constraints Experience building developer-facing tools, SDKs, or internal platforms How We Work Fast iteration: We deploy code daily and validate it in the factory every week Factory-first reputed company: Engineers spend time on the shop floor to understand the real-world impact of their work Low ceremony, high ownership: We value well-written design docs, tested code, and real results — not meetings Collaborative culture: Geometry, AI, and robotics teams are tightly integrated and co-reputed company the product together
