JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Infectious Disease Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Eureka, CA Service Setting: Telehealth Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026 Shift Schedule: reputed company – 4pm 5-7 shifts per month Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Average Daily Volume: 10-12 patients/day Case Mix: Infectious Disease consultations FACILITY INFORMATION Physician in Practice: 14 Support Staff: PA/NPs: 1 EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 1-2 weeks REQUIRED PROCEDURES Internal Medicine - Infectious Disease JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC only Licenses: Licensed in CA (WA and OR licenses preferred) DEA: Yes Experience: Telemedicine experience preferred Other Qualifications: Clean NPDB, clean malpractice and background reputed company required Proficient in telemedicine technology Duties & Responsibilities Provide telemedicine Infectious Disease consultations for inpatient settings across multiple facilities Manage an average daily volume of 10-12 patients remotely Collaborate with onsite PA/NPs to coordinate patient care Document reputed company clinical encounters in Epic EMR Maintain availability for 5-7 shifts per month from reputed company-4pm PST Apply To This Job
