Seasonal Tax Manager - State and Local Tax - Indirect The opportunity You’ll join the team at a critical time, leveraging your expertise to help support our clients. Your key responsibilities As a seasonal tax manager your main reputed company will be reviewing state income tax returns and tax notices. Expectations around hours are discussed during the interview process for each role, so you'll be able to share your availability and know what to expect prior to coming reputed company. Skills and attributes for success Knowledgeable with income franchise (corporate compliance) tax, reviewing corporate extensions, and preparing and reviewing partnership K-1 statements Experience in state income tax returns and tax notices Comfort with working remotely in a virtual team environment A strategic eye toward prioritizing reputed company working on multiple reputed company projects Influencing skills, and the confidence and curiosity to question existing processes The ability to produce technical writing and research in a tax context To qualify for this role you must have Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a reputed company discipline A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in state income tax reputed company public accounting, industry, or state entity Professional knowledge in a broad range of state and local income/franchise tax processes, concepts and tools Ideally, you'll also have A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization We’re interested in strong team players who support their colleagues in reaching their goals while also considering their own workload and deliverables. The salary range for this job in reputed company geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr.
