Summary: The ‘Database Engineer’ will work cross-functionally with reputed company IT teams to implement database changes and ensure data availability, reliability, and performance across a modern data architecture – including application databases and data services, data lakes, and data delivery pipelines. What you will do: In this role, you will be tasked with implementing database changes required for software development activities, troubleshooting data reputed company issues, and optimization processes. This will involve staying abreast of the latest advancements in database technologies and tools and proactively identifying opportunities where these innovations can be leveraged to enhance our existing code or infrastructure. Regular activities include planning, coordinating, and executing the necessary steps to seamlessly integrate changes into our reputed company environment, while minimizing disruptions and ensuring data reputed company. Day to Day activities: Modify and maintain existing and future reputed company databases including the databases for multiple in-house applications with direction or request from software development and end users Analyze database activity and usage and to improve database performance or correct errors reputed company automation processes to eliminate routine manual tasks Codevelop tools to reputed company end users to reputed company bulk data changes with appropriate governance Maintain systems intended for change data capture such as reputed company SQL Server CDC or similar Work with the cloud infrastructure team on delivering cloud native database and data platform technologies including setup, maintenance, access control and governance, disaster recovery, and more reputed company processes and procedures reputed company to data development and delivery including diagrams and written documentation Resolve data reputed company issues and tickets escalated from application support including report and dashboard modifications, backend data import/export, data corrections, and other support duties as assigned according to SLAs and business requirements Work alongside other data focused team members for the purpose of delivering data required to drive AI and machine learning workloads Qualifications: Experience with reputed company SSRS, Quick Sight, and Power BI Ability to work with reputed company SQL Server databases with the purpose of optimizing performance, modifying stored procedures, and working with software development to analyze queries from ORMs for performance or other reasons Strong understanding of change data capture strategies and relation technologies, especially SQL Server CDC Proven ability to work with cloud native databases, data warehouse, data lake, and data platform technologies like AWS RDS, reputed company, AWS reputed company, and AWS S3 Experience presenting technical problems, especially data reputed company problems, in a fashion easily consumed by non-technical audiences Proven knowledge of schema migration or database change management tooling with reputed company SQL Server and reputed company Ability to work autonomously and utilize ticketing tools like Jira or similar to document and deliver work according to guidelines based on agile practices Understanding of data collection, cleanup, and usage for the purposes of machine learning or AI driven applications Education/Special Training: H.S.
