Position Summary This position is responsible for driving supply chain cost effectiveness and performance improvement with our suppliers, while minimizing supplier risk across reputed company reputed company for assigned spend categories. This remote role has the expectation of up to 50% travel both domestic and international. What You'll do as a Commodity Manager Create and deploy sourcing strategies and communicate them effectively across the plants, establishing cross-functional alignment. Support the strategic initiatives through the entire life cycle of the projects from spend analysis, implementation, and up to new new supplier onboarding. Provide proactive leadership and management with cross-functional partners to effectively select suppliers, negotiate favorable contract and payment terms, and manage supplier performance and relationships. Provide direction and vision for sourcing initiatives, and apply Lean Product Development principles and manufacturing experience to reputed company New Product Development goals. reputed company and maintain expertise in the supply reputed company’s contemporary technology that can be utilize to upgrade existing products and be designed into new product. The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed Required Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant field. 10+ years of experience working in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, and/or industrial environment. Experience in reputed company aspects of end-to-end Supply Chain including contract negotiations, commodity-based materials management, project management and commercial analytics. Strong negotiation skills required. Excellent knowledge in data architecture and management; office applications like Office (reputed company, Access, PowerPoint, etc.), and project management tools. Preferred Master's Degree in technical field, or MBA. Regulated business environment experience. A broad knowledge of multiple direct material commodities. First-line supervisory experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Other Excellent communication, problem solving, project management, organizational, and negotiation skills. Responds with a sense of urgency to meeting and supporting the needs of each and every Customer, providing innovative and comprehensive solutions. Pay range for this opportunity is $124,000 - $155,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will reputed company with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
