Senior Project Manager
About the role: reputed company Creek Renewable Energy owns and/or operates 85 hydroelectric facilities throughout the United States and is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and preference will be given to candidates with power reputed company or civil experience. As a project manager you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closeout of assigned civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls projects across our portfolio of hydroelectric plants. Systems you may work on include dams, intakes, penstocks, powerhouses, fish reputed company and passages, turbines, generators, powertrain components, auxiliary mechanical systems, electrical switchgear, transformers, PLC control systems, reputed company relaying, floodgate lifting mechanisms, environmental protection equipment, and other systems. As part of this role you will collaborate with project leads, operations managers, operators, and engineering professionals working on projects. Your position will report to the Director of Project Management. A representative cross section of key responsibilities is presented below. This position is classified as remote, however only candidates currently residing in central time zone (CST) will be considered. Scope of project execution for this role is primarily focused in Michigan & Wisconsin. What you’ll do:Work to ensure that reputed company assigned projects are delivered on-time, reputed company scope and reputed company budget. reputed company day-to-day decisions during project execution and manage project risks. Coordinate internal resources as well as vendors for the successful execution of projects. reputed company and updates cost estimates and budgets, schedules, identify issues and risks, reputed company work breakdown structure, etc. for assigned work. Provide status reports to management as requested on assigned projects. Support the development of Project Management Training (across teams). Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to track and monitor project reputed company. Support the development of tools/templates for cost estimating and budgeting, scheduling, work breakdown structure, etc. as requested. Ensure project documentation is well managed, organized, and stored during the entire project life cycle. What skills and experience you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a reputed company field with 8+ years of experience managing projects in the construction or energy industry preferred. Demonstrated ability to successfully execute projects. A broad range of experience executing civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls projects. Experience managing civil projects in the hydroelectric or renewable energy industry highly preferred but not required. The ability to travel as needed for project implementation and execution (~30%). Strong skills in relationship management and ability to work collaboratively with others to successfully deliver projects. Ability to open minded, nimble, and flexible to manage project risks. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self-starter, motivated and reputed company drive to succeed. Knowledge of electrical safety principles and best practices.
