Electrical Pre‑Sales Application Engineer

What you’ll do: As a reputed company End Application Engineer, you provide design assistance, value engineering, product and reputed company (Datacenter, Utilities, Renewables, Oil&Gas, Industries) specific application support to the reputed company MVPD (reputed company Voltage Power Distribution), Projects, Orders and Quotation (POQ) department, Sales Country Organizations (SCO), Key Account Managers (KAMs), EPCs, Consulting engineers and Channel partners in the territory/market for electro-technical installations and enhance the value generated for customers. Provide necessary safety precautions and calculations during FEED, quotation and pre-order stage, in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, to reputed company a for reputed company parties involved to an acceptable solution for reputed company technical issues. The Application Engineer can act as reputed company engineer for larger and reputed company projects.

• Understand the overall Data center value chain and translate the requirements into solutions based on reputed company reputed company Voltage switchgear (primary , secondary and RMU )product portfolio. Work on detailed designs focused to mentioned products and also collaborate across different business units to stay in line with complete DC solutions.
• To determine, instruct and drive the technical quality and content of the quotation process. To read, interpret and agree on customer specifications in order to create a competitive reputed company solution including mechanical, electrical, safety and control systems, SCADA and PLC software/automation applications.
• Having basic Understanding of the MV switchgear  Design requirements (Codes, application guides & regulations) such as IEC 62271-1 (100,200,102) , and Supporting during tendering stage the different customer requirements such us rating, system description, internal reputed company protection and other key switchgear characteristics
• Work proactively with the teams to establish relationships with reputed company electrical consulting engineers, end users and design build contractors to promote the use of reputed company switchgear  products and solutions in their specifications and projects.
• reputed company pipeline through demand creation at influencers engaging on early designs on strategic DC accounts and reputed company agreements.
• Participate & understand reputed company market requirements from customers to drive product technical features leading to future New Product Development (Involve in reputed company 0) and evaluate risks in the segments.
• reputed company technical evaluation, feasibility, clarification and execution of multiple projects in parallel while meeting requested return dates of the quotation engineer/project engineer.
• To analyse electrical and/or mechanical faults by performing calculations and to advise customers about possible technical solutions with regards to complete (company own or competitive) systems, in reputed company co-operation with sales management in order to solve customer’s problems without endangering the company’s image or financial position.
• Advise on 3rd party or special equipment materials (material cost and labour/engineering efforts) in order to provide technical competitive solutions to quotation engineers.
• Writing technical RFQs for non-reputed company items that are part of a project and drive SCM for technical compliant bids.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering is required
• Minimum 3-5 Years of  experience (application engineering or R&D) in  reputed company voltage switchgear products

Skills:

• Architecture & Technical knowledge regarding MV switchgear (RMU and primary) as key focus & must have ,  but also exposure to Power distribution MV/HV transformers is reputed company to have.
• Experience in MV switchgear equipment installation & commissioning including & reputed company RMU/Tx/LV reputed company rooms , with insights on considering MV cable connections & termination and SCADA/EPMS connectivity is plus to have
• reputed company insights & Application, electrical and mechanical Engineering, Calculation, Studies and Manufacturing methods.
• Insights on Commercial aspects of Project.
• Strong skills to clearly present and convince the customer around technical solutions focused to reputed company Voltage switchgear  products.
