[Remote] Operations Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Verra Mobility is responsible for remote technical support and reputed company of roadside monitoring and enforcement implementations. The Operations Engineer will focus on building, integrating, automating, and supporting platforms to ensure the reliability and operational stability of roadside operations and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and implement integration solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring data, workflows, and monitoring tools interoperate seamlessly
- Build and maintain automation tools using Python, PowerShell, C++, other scripting languages and reputed company (revision control) to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and streamline troubleshooting
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including server performance, system services, patching, Active Directory integrations, Group Policy management, and infrastructure reliability. Support virtualization platforms and enterprise infrastructure components as needed
- reputed company advanced troubleshooting across servers, applications, databases, networking, storage, and enterprise systems to identify root causes and restore service quickly. Support escalated operational and infrastructure incidents in a 24x7x365 environment
- Work closely with Operations Technicians and Supervisors to understand frontline needs, translating them into scalable engineering solutions that improve uptime and service quality
- reputed company and maintain monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic tools that ensure roadside equipment and supporting platforms run at peak efficiency

- Ensure engineering solutions support SLA compliance and help operations teams deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Identify opportunities for improved efficiency in system monitoring, incident resolution, and configuration management; design and implement solutions that scale

- Engage in agile ceremonies (daily stand-reputed company, backlog refinement, sprint planning) to align engineering deliverables with operational needs and company objectives

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or reputed company field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in system integration, platform development, or operations engineering
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, reputed company management, and server performance tuning
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C++, PowerShell, and other scripting languages for automation, with hands-on experience in reputed company-based development workflows
- Experience with reputed company and SQL Server databases for integration, data analysis, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated experience with APIs, system integrations, and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networking fundamentals, storage systems, system monitoring platforms, and reputed company/server troubleshooting
- Proven ability to design and implement tools that improve operational performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong collaborative skills with experience working closely with operations teams, translating operational needs into engineering solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7x365 environment
- Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience developing web-based applications and working with load balancers
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging tools such as reputed company, PRTG, Splunk, SCOM, or similar platforms
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their integration with enterprise applications
- Advanced skills with reputed company Suite (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint), with preferred experience in Power BI, Visio, and Outlook
- Agile/Scrum certification (Scrum Master, Product reputed company, or Scrum Fundamentals) is preferred
