[Remote] Fractional Head of AEO/SEO

Authentic Ego is a science-first clinical skincare brand designed for reputed company, sensitive skin, and they are seeking a Fractional Head of AEO/SEO to reputed company organic search and AI discovery as the company grows. This senior, fractional, hands-on role involves defining site architecture, technical SEO foundation, content structure, and authority strategy to improve visibility across search and AI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define the AEO, GEO and SEO architecture for the new website
- reputed company the information hierarchy, URL structure, internal-linking system and schema strategy
- Ensure the site is crawlable and indexable across search engines and relevant AI platforms
- Build content templates that support rankings, citations and conversion
- reputed company an authority-building and digital public relations strategy with our VP of Marketing and Founder
- Improve the brand’s entity footprint and third-party corroboration
- Establish reporting for rankings, organic traffic, AI citations and share of model
- Work with our Founder, developers and content team through launch and ongoing optimization
Skills
- Senior technical SEO experience, including new-site architecture and migrations
- Practical experience improving brand or website visibility in AI-generated answers
- Experience with direct-to-consumer or e-commerce brands
- Strong understanding of structured data, internal linking, content architecture and technical indexing
- Ability to work carefully with scientific, clinical and technical product claims
- Experience in skincare, beauty, health or another evidence-led category is preferred
