[Remote] Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, while ensuring high-quality reporting and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• reputed company the preparation of monthly management financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flow

• Coach a team of senior accountants, driving accountability, ownership, and professional growth
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance
• Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
• Partner with cross-functional teams (reputed company, tax, operations, HR, Sales and Marketing, Legal) and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• reputed company global consolidation processes across multiple business units and legal entities
• reputed company foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation adjustments
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across reputed company reporting entities
• Maintain and enhance consolidation processes and supporting documentation
• Identify and participate in new system implementation, process improvements and automation opportunities
• Prepare monthly balance sheet review for CFO
• Prepare reporting packages by entity
• Ensure compliance with evolving U.S. GAAP standards, local statutory reporting requirements, conduct independent accounting research on new and unusual business transactions and help implement global accounting policies
• Support external audits and act as a primary liaison with auditors

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting
• 5+ years in a leadership or managerial reputed company
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP
• Financial statement preparation
• Foreign currency translation
• Multi-entity eliminations and consolidation
• Project management
• Expertise with ERP systems (like reputed company, reputed company, reputed company) and consolidation tools
