[Remote] Principal Product Manager - Containers & Cloud

They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to reputed company product strategy for their container and cloud portfolio, focusing on product vision, roadmap, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, field engineering, and customers/prospects to shape the technical vision and roadmap for container and cloud product lines—bringing hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift architecture experience to every conversation
- Translate real-world customer environments and emerging technology trends into actionable product direction, contributing credibly to architecture discussions and design reviews
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for containers and cloud, prioritizing features based on technical feasibility, customer impact, and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to reputed company build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions grounded in deep understanding of the underlying technology stack
- Conduct deep technical discovery with enterprise customers, engaging directly with their platform engineering and DevOps teams to understand infrastructure architectures, pain points, and workflows
- reputed company competitive and market analysis with a focus on Kubernetes/OpenShift ecosystem trends and cloud provider roadmaps
- Build and maintain technical demos, reference architectures, best-practice guides, and white papers that reflect production-grade Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud-native deployments
- Partner with marketing and sales engineering to create differentiated technical collateral grounded in hands-on expertise
- Act as the senior technical reputed company between product, engineering, UX, sales, and support—ensuring product decisions are technically sound and customer-validated
- Mentor and reputed company the technical depth of the broader product management team on cloud-native topics
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline (Master's degree or MBA is a plus)
- 10+ years of combined experience in product management, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years in product management
- Proven track record of defining and executing product roadmaps for technically reputed company, infrastructure-level products
- Hands-on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, with strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, reputed company Cloud)
- Ability to translate deep technical knowledge into compelling narratives for audiences ranging from engineering teams to C-level executives
- Experience influencing without authority across engineering, sales, and executive leadership in a matrixed organization
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Willingness to travel up to 20–30% of time
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, reputed company, OpenStack, or OpenShift virtualization) and data protection in containerized and cloud environments is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to produce technical demos, white papers, and solution briefs; recognized industry reputed company is a strong plus
