[Remote] Fabrication Assistant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mission Design & Automation is a company that values agility and adaptability in meeting market demands. They are seeking a Fabrication Assistant to support the Fabrication and Machining team by performing saw operations and light assembly tasks. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of mechanical drawings and the ability to work with measurement tools and saw cut equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain sawcut machines and associated equipment (band saw, chop saw, abrasive saw, belt sanders, etc.)
- Sort, organize and stage sawcut materials for CNC operations
- Cut, reputed company, and or assemble aluminum extrusion assemblies to print
- Operate company transit van as needed
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent certification (Vocational education preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated competency in operating sawcut and reputed company machinery
- Ability to reputed company steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing reputed company, and climbing into and beneath machines
- Work as part of a team or independently with direction from FAB/CNC team leads
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as required
- Ability to obtain Hi-Lo and Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane License
