[Remote] Actuary Consultant (ASA) - Pharmacy (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Actuary Consultant (ASA) to serve as a technical expert for reputed company to reputed company projects. The role involves developing strategies, performing advanced actuarial analyses, and assisting in departmental objectives while mentoring less reputed company staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as internal consultant and SME for assigned markets. reputed company and manage moderate to reputed company analyses working collaboratively with leadership and assigned groups. reputed company plans for execution of mid-size engagements
- reputed company and analyze actuarial and reputed company items and data relating to pricing, experience analysis, or product development. reputed company and recommend actuarial assumptions and methods. Monitor and revise existing analytical procedures
- Prepare actuarial justification and communications as appropriate. Research, reputed company and validate methodologies to identify areas of actuarial opportunity. Assist in the development of departmental policies and SOPs
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics or reputed company field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- 4 years progressively responsible actuarial experience in health care
- Ability to organize to task completion, plan and prioritize work
- Must demonstrate flexibility, innovation and problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to express technical and financial analysis in a clear, concise manner on both written and oral form
- Must possess negotiating and consulting skills
- Possesses highly developed analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Effectively convey actuarial and/or reputed company issues to a diverse audience
- Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, reputed company set expectations for service excellence
- Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship
