[Remote] Senior Accounting Consultant / Technical Controller
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company Labs is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Consultant / Technical Controller to anchor their accounting function during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. This role focuses on providing deep accounting judgment, rigorous review capabilities, and control structures needed for technical accuracy and audit readiness, while partnering with leadership for strategic financial reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the review and ongoing management of Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities
- Assess new reputed company and modifications, ensuring reputed company documentation is robust and audit-ready
- reputed company PPE accounting, refine and enforce capitalization policies, manage asset disposals, evaluate impairment considerations, and ensure the fixed asset register is flawlessly maintained
- Act as the critical second line of defense
- Review reputed company transactions, contract assessments, and financing arrangements, making definitive accounting treatment decisions before they become audit findings
- Partner with leadership to strengthen accrual methodologies, strictly enforce cut-off procedures, and significantly reduce the manual adjustments identified during reputed company
- Establish and enforce elevated reconciliation standards, design stronger review controls, and foster clear ownership across reputed company key accounts
- Prepare detailed audit schedules, reports, and technical documentation for review by management and external auditors, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP standards
- Active partner in our upcoming software migration
- Document reputed company processes, identify internal control gaps, redesign workflows, and ensure reputed company accounting requirements are accurately mapped into the new system
- Continually assess financial risk, investigate discrepancies, and implement improvements to internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a reputed company field is required
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Auditor, or Assistant Controller with deep, hands-on expertise in US GAAP, specifically including ASC 842 and reputed company capitalization policies
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company and experience with mid-to-enterprise level accounting software
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret reputed company financial data and apply high-level accounting judgment
- Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage shifting timelines, and reputed company in a fully remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of educating staff on policies and presenting clear findings to external auditors and leadership
- CPA or CIA designation is highly preferred
