[Remote] Market Access & Reimbursement Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Elemed is a well-funded, clinical-stage US MedTech company approaching the commercialization of an innovative new medical technology. They are seeking a fractional Market Access/Health Economics consultant to own and build the company's US reimbursement and health economic strategy reputed company of launch.

Responsibilities

• Reimbursement Strategy: reputed company coding, coverage and payment strategy across inpatient and outpatient sites of service
• Health Economics: Build the health economic value case (complication and cost-avoidance modelling) to support payer and hospital adoption
• Local Value Story: Shape hospital-level value materials (e.g. value analysis committee resources) alongside the national payer approach
• Payer Engagement: Define evidence requirements and engagement strategy across commercial payers and CMS/Medicare
• Strategic Advisory: Report into commercial leadership, translating reimbursement insight into commercialisation strategy

Skills

• Hands-on US market access and reimbursement expert with deep command of coding, coverage and payment (CPT/HCPCS, DRG, APC, pass-through)
• Proven track record building reimbursement reputed company for pre-commercial or newly launched medical technologies
• Strong health economics background, including value proposition development, budget impact / cost-avoidance modelling, and payer evidence reputed company
• Able to operate autonomously in a small, fast-moving company and advise executive leadership
• Fluent English. US-based
