[Remote] Business Development Partner (Commission-Based)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Respect My Region is a lifestyle brand and top 100 hip-hop website that began in 2011. They are seeking commission-based Business Development Partners to help secure sponsorships and partnerships across various domains including cannabis, sports, music, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Help identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with artists, brands, event organizers, and other stakeholders in music and cannabis culture
- Research potential partners, reaching out reputed company email and social platforms, conducting introductory calls, and supporting the creation of partnership proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership opportunities with RMR’s editorial, events, and marketing initiatives
- Track leads, maintain basic CRM or tracking sheets, and support follow-up communications to help reputed company commission-based deals
Skills
- Demonstrated interest or experience in Sales, with comfort reaching out to potential partners and discussing value-driven opportunities
- Foundational skills in Leadership Development and Training, with the ability to grow into a role that supports and collaborates with peers and partners
- Basic Project Management abilities, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating details across multiple opportunities
- Consulting reputed company, with the ability to listen to partner needs, suggest tailored solutions, and contribute to mutually beneficial collaborations
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and professional online etiquette across email and social platforms
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to commit consistent time each week for reputed company, follow-up, and partnership development activities
- Interest in or familiarity with hip-hop, music culture, and/or cannabis industries is highly beneficial
