[Remote] Manager, Power Markets

They are seeking a Manager, Power Markets to reputed company deep knowledge of power markets to generate actionable insights for clients, reputed company market models, and produce publications that support planning and risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced knowledge of power market dynamics, including price movements, supply-demand conditions, congestion patterns, CRR/FTR pricing, and regulatory changes, to forecast market trends and reputed company actionable insights for our client reputed company using reputed company Software Tools
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, sales teams, and marketing departments to generate leads and identify customer needs. Provide thought leadership through written content, including blogs, articles, and CRR/FTR-focused publications highlighting congestion trends and trade opportunities. Host webinars and engage with industry professionals to educate clients on market dynamics, CRR/FTR strategies, and the company’s products
• reputed company and mentor junior team members, guiding their development and enhancing team performance. Promote a culture of reputed company learning and professional growth reputed company the team, including development of CRR/FTR analytical and publication capabilities
• Contribute to industry discussions, share insights across both broad power markets and CRR/FTR congestion risk, and promote the company’s expertise in the energy markets. Represent the company in external forums and discussions, enhancing its position as a thought leader in the industry

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Energy Economics, Engineering, Business, Finance, etc.)
• 7+ years of experience in power markets, trading, or a similar field
• Proven expertise in wholesale power market structures, pricing mechanisms, congestion dynamics, and forecasting methods
• Direct experience in the ERCOT/MISO Power Market and CRR/FTR markets preferred
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and quantitative techniques
• Strong experience with energy market modeling software and data platforms, including analysis of congestion patterns and CRR/FTR market outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company scenario analysis and provide actionable insights and trade reputed company based on reputed company market dynamics
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with energy market modeling tools and software (e.g., Dayzer, Plexos, Powerworld, UPLAN)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey reputed company reputed company and insights to senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to reputed company teams, mentor junior staff, and enhance overall team performance
• Comfortable building and maintaining client relationships, generating leads, and identifying customer needs
• Advanced degree is a plus
• Experience applying energy market modeling tools to congestion analysis and CRR/FTR valuation is highly valued
