[Remote] Cost Analyst

They are seeking a dedicated senior-level Cost Analyst to provide part-time support to the US Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems, focusing on military cost estimating processes and guidance for less reputed company analysts.
Responsibilities
- Provide cost analyst / cost estimating guidance, training, and mentoring to other less reputed company SPA Cost Analysts / Cost Estimators in support of a reputed company program
- Guide the contractor cost estimating team in formulating cost estimates for equipment, systems, associated software, and logistics costs
- Understand and communicate effectively with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and program management across reputed company levels of government and industry
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of relevant cost estimating experience
- Possess or meet eligibility for DOD Secret reputed company clearance and be able to maintain it throughout employment
- Strong analytical abilities and ability to deliver actionable insights to guide program financial planning and decision-making
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to reputed company cost estimations, provide recommendations, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across programs
- Certification in cost estimating (e.g., ICEAA, Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst)
