[Remote] Sr. Tax Analyst - Motor Fuel

The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for tax compliance, filing returns, and leveraging AI to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file reputed company federal, state, and local tax returns and reputed company documents
- Conduct in-depth tax research and strategic analysis to support decision-making
- Provide detailed analysis of changes in tax legislation and impact on the company
- Support and potentially reputed company external tax audits
- Respond to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities

- Prepare and deliver detailed tax reports and presentations to senior management

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate experience
- 3-5 years reputed company experience. Prior motor fuel experience preferred
- Effective team player able to work with others in various areas (operations, treasury, finance, etc.)
- Knowledgeable about tax responsibility area
- Displays strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Has above average attention to detail and high degree of speed/accuracy in data entry
- Willingness and ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and complete tasks by deadline
- Exercises sound judgment and adherence to department policy and procedures
