[Remote] Compliance Analyst, Marketing Review

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Axonic Insurance, a NYC-based insurance business, is seeking a Compliance Analyst, Marketing Review with direct experience reviewing marketing materials in the annuity industry. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and other internal business groups to ensure compliance with advertising guidelines and company policies while supporting business needs.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve annuity marketing materials, including advertising, sales literature, product collateral, digital campaigns
• Evaluate materials for accuracy, fair and balanced presentation, required disclosures, product descriptions, prohibited or unsupported claims, and consistency with company standards
• Apply NAIC Advertising Guidelines, applicable state insurance advertising rules, and internal policies to daily marketing review work
• Provide timely, clear, and practical feedback to internal partners to support business needs while maintaining compliance expectations
• Maintain organized review records, approvals, version history, substantiation, and supporting documentation so files are audit-ready and easy to follow
• Monitor regulatory developments, internal trends, and recurring review themes; help translate updates into practical guidance, checklists, and training for business groups
• Partner with Compliance leadership on reviews reputed company to new products, sales strategies, market expansion, distribution initiatives, and marketing campaign launches
• Support workflow improvements, including procedure development, review templates, quality-control practices, and the responsible evaluation and use of AI tools for testing, training, and efficiency
• Escalate potential compliance concerns, higher-risk language, or emerging issues to Compliance leadership and assist with remediation, audits, exams, and reputed company follow-up as needed

Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience reviewing marketing materials in the annuity industry required, broader life insurance, financial services, or marketing review experience a plus
• Domestic marketing review experience required or regulatory exposure a plus
• Working knowledge of annuity products, including applicable federal and state regulatory bodies, NAIC advertising standards, and common advertising/disclosure requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to provide clear guidance, explain rationale, and influence stakeholders without creating unnecessary friction
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple reviews, deadlines, and business priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in reputed company Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn compliance review systems, workflow tools, and emerging technology
• Experience working with remote colleagues and cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Preferred qualifications include a Series 6/63 registration and Life Insurance license
