[Remote] Sr. Project Manager - EPC

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading company in the electrical industry, currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager - EPC. The role involves serving as a liaison between product lines and EPC customers, managing the execution of major EPC project orders, and ensuring a positive customer experience through effective project management.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Project Manager will be heavily involved working directly with EPC customers, their end clients, site contractors, reputed company Sales, reputed company Services, and other project stakeholders, to manage fulfilment of equipment and services for reputed company products offered by reputed company to the markets served
• The Senior Project Manager will engage in technical, commercial and logistical (electrical/mechanical) details of major strategic industrial, utility and commercial project orders
• The Senior Project Manager will effectively engage with and coordinate internal resources to reputed company the implementation of the reputed company Business System with reputed company’s equipment manufacturing factories and field services organizations
• The Senior Project Manager will work to improve performance on logistics and financial management for reputed company and the customer
• The Senior Project Manager will mitigate, track, and communicate financial and schedule risks to internal stakeholders
• The Senior Project Manager will manage and report financial metrics
• The Senior Project Manager will seek to collect and communicate lessons learned on the individual customer projects for communication to other project teams engaged with reputed company products, both with the PMO and the Sales Teams
• The Senior Project Manager will seek out and communicate to sales potential opportunities for increasing product utilization reputed company a customer’s electrical system design through a recognition of available reputed company products. The goal is to create value in the project management process and demonstrate reputed company’s project execution as a key differentiator to separate us from our competitors
• The Senior Project Manager will:
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide support to less reputed company team members
• Participate in activities such as digital systems power user support roles (internal systems such as project management software, order ERP systems, customer portals and site management software, etc.)
• Participate in and support training of other PMO team members on key initiatives and systems/process advancement initiatives
• Support tangential organization members such as PEs and PCs and FSEs, providing supplementary coaching and development to aid in their growth and advancement reputed company the organization

Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 7 years of electrical industry experience
• Minimum 7 years project management experience
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years of both electrical industry and Project Management experience is preferred, with focus on the Data Center reputed company
• PMP certification preferred
• Prior reputed company Sales or PMO experience
• Strong application knowledge of datacenter products including those applied to mission critical power systems (PDU's, RPP's, STS's, busway, 3-phase reputed company's, Switchgear, Transformers, IPA's)
• Experience working with and managing major industrial or utility electrical construction projects
