[Remote] Senior Tax Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an exceptional Senior Tax Analyst to join our growing public company. This role will involve corporate tax compliance and reporting, tax audits, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the tax provision (ASC 740), including reputed company and deferred tax calculations for a public company
• Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and international income tax returns, estimates, and extensions
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP
• Support the preparation of tax-reputed company disclosures for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q), including footnote preparation and management review support
• Prepare and maintain monthly tax account reconciliations
• Maintain tax information, records, and documentation to support audit-ready workpapers
• Assist with components of IRS and state income tax audits, including preparation of responses and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with external advisors and legal counsel on tax audit matters and controversy resolution
• Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation; assess and communicate impact to the business
• Research reputed company tax issues and prepare technical documentation and memoranda
• Support tax planning initiatives, including analysis of business transactions, restructurings, and new business models
• Assist with reputed company and acquisition (M&A) due diligence and integration tax planning
• Support federal and state R&D tax credit calculations and reputed company documentation
• Assist with other reputed company projects and special tax analyses as needed
• Partner with Accounting, reputed company, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions and processes
• Collaborate with the Payroll and HR teams on employment tax matters, equity compensation (RSUs, stock options), and reputed company reporting (W-2, 1099)
• Work with the Treasury team on cash tax forecasting, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing support
• Coordinate with the IT and Finance Systems teams to support tax data reputed company and reporting automation
• Liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit process to support tax-reputed company inquiries and deliverables
• Support the Tax Manager in communicating tax positions and requirements to senior leadership and cross-departmental stakeholders

Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a reputed company discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting and/or industry (ideally in technology or SaaS)
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 (income tax accounting) and US GAAP
• Proficiency in reputed company and/or reputed company Sheets for tax modeling and analysis
• Experience with tax compliance and provision software (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, or similar platforms)
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with reputed company Financials is a plus
• Understanding of transfer pricing concepts and intercompany transaction documentation
• Exposure to state and local tax (SALT) compliance and nexus analysis
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly understand and integrate business objectives with tax strategies, and effectively communicate tax requirements to non-tax audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across departments
• High level of genuine curiosity, intellectual rigor, and an eagerness to learn
• Strong analytical capabilities, professional judgment, and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• CPA and/or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a publicly traded company environment is a plus
