As a DevOps Engineer V, you will reputed company the design and management of cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes and AWS EKS, while driving platform reliability and operational excellence across critical workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters, primarily on AWS EKS
  • Build and maintain containerized workloads using reputed company and Kubernetes best practices
  • Define and enforce standards for containerization, deployment patterns, and cluster operations
  • Implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant platform architectures
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • reputed company reusable modules and automation frameworks to reputed company self-service infrastructure
  • Drive infrastructure standardization, cost optimization, and performance improvements
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support containerized application delivery
  • Integrate automated testing, reputed company scanning, and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary)
  • reputed company development teams with tooling, templates, and best practices for DevOps adoption
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure
  • Define SLOs/SLIs and drive improvements in system reliability and performance
  • reputed company incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and reputed company improvement efforts
  • Ensure Kubernetes and cloud environments meet reputed company and compliance standards
  • Implement secure configurations, access controls, and audit capabilities
  • Partner with InfoSec teams to manage risk and compliance initiatives
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support
  • Collaborate with Cloud Architects and cross-functional teams to define platform strategy
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architecture reviews, and internal knowledge sharing
  • Leading Kubernetes (EKS) platform strategy and operational excellence initiatives
  • Driving containerization and modernization efforts across applications
  • Partnering with engineering teams to optimize deployment and runtime performance
  • Supporting incident response and participating in on-call rotations
  • Continuously improving automation, observability, and reliability capabilities

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes including production cluster operations
  • Experience with container technologies such as reputed company
  • Deep experience with AWS, including reputed company EKS
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation)
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (reputed company CI, Jenkins, reputed company Actions)
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar)
  • Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and version control best practices
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis experience
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes-specific certifications such as CKA/CKAD)
  • Experience implementing reputed company best practices for Kubernetes (RBAC, network policies, secrets management)
  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
  • Experience with multi-cluster or hybrid Kubernetes environments
