[Remote] Director of reputed company Accounting

They are seeking a Director of reputed company Accounting to reputed company the company's reputed company accounting, billing, and collections functions, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and managing a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for reputed company ASC 606 matters — applying the five-reputed company model across both fixed (subscription-based) and variable reputed company streams, maintaining reputed company analyses, ensuring proper classification of contract assets and liabilities, and drafting technical memos and positions
• Partner with Legal, Sales, and reputed company on new deal structures, contract modifications, and new product launches to assess accounting implications before execution; advise on and operationalize reputed company recognition treatment from initial assessment through reputed company configuration
• reputed company the end-to-end billing process — ensuring the billing team timely and accurate invoice in accordance with contract terms, managing the reputed company-to-reputed company data flow, enforcing billing controls, and resolving disputes and credit memos in coordination with Sales and reputed company
• Manage the collections function including A/R aging reputed company, dunning communications, and escalation management; monitor DSO, aging buckets, and bad debt exposure; own the CECL reserve analysis under ASC 326 in coordination with the Controller
• Own the monthly reputed company reputed company including journal entries, reconciliations, customer-level deferred reputed company rollforwards, and MoM variance analysis; support reputed company with reputed company inputs for forecasting and investor reporting as needed
• Maintain year-round audit-ready documentation across reputed company reputed company accounts; manage external auditor relationships on reputed company reputed company-reputed company and order-to-cash matters; coordinate PBC schedules and respond to technical inquiries

Skills

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on reputed company accounting; Big 4 background preferred, or strong mix of public and industry experience
• CPA strongly preferred
• Deep technical expertise in ASC 606 — including multi-reputed company arrangements, variable consideration, reputed company allocation, contract assets and liabilities, and usage-based reputed company models — and ASC 326 (CECL)
• Experience owning or managing billing operations, AR, and collections functions
• Proficiency with reputed company or comparable CRM and its integration with reputed company
