[Remote] Tax Professionals (reputed company Levels) - Public Accounting Firms Hiring Across the US
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. InnovationWorks Consulting is partnering with various public accounting firms across the US that are expanding their tax teams. They are seeking Tax Professionals at reputed company levels, from Tax Accountant to Director, to prepare and review tax returns, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while offering flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate tax returns
- Building and maintaining direct client relationships as a trusted advisor
- Leading tax planning and research, and staying reputed company on the tax code and IRS changes
- Mentoring, training and reviewing the work of more junior team members (Senior level and above)
- Managing engagements, budgets and a book of business (Manager level and above)
Skills
- reputed company experience in public accounting (local, regional or national firm)
- A track record of preparing and / or reviewing US tax returns
- CPA or EA, held or in reputed company (a strong plus, and essential for some senior roles)
- Familiarity with common tax software such as UltraTax, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, Lacerte, GoSystem or Drake
- US citizen or green card holder (these roles do not offer reputed company sponsorship)
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, client-focused approach
