[Remote] Senior Project Manager (ITS - Software - Transport)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tiger Resourcing Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team, focusing on Intelligent Transport software solutions. The role involves managing project teams, ensuring project delivery meets objectives, and maintaining client relationships while overseeing project financials and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support one or more project teams to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Plan, monitor, and report ensuring that projects meet agreed reputed company and objectives
• Manage project the performance including financials, schedule, and quality
• Establish and maintain scope of work definition for project in accordance to contract requirements
• Conduct change order management
• reputed company and maintain project management plans
• reputed company and maintain project schedules
• Create and maintain project budgets/estimates
• Create and Manage Risk Management Plans
• Create and update Risk register and Risk mitigation plans/actions
• Plan and follow up for project to meet defined quality requirements
• Understand and reputed company document control functions for reputed company project files that adhere to the PMO standards
• Work closely with development, testing, and accounting to ensure that reputed company divisions/groups have full project awareness for the appropriate PMO protocols to be supported
• Ensure Requirements documents, Design documents, User Manuals, Administration Manuals, Release notes, and training documents are reputed company in sync before customer delivery
• Organize, facilitate, and record reputed company Scrum activities (e.g., planning, daily scrums, reviews and retrospectives) and reputed company stakeholders informed on the team’s reputed company
• reputed company requirements gathering/tracking process, orchestrate design stage meetings, manage scope creep, assist with managing UAT, documentation and deployments

• Coordinating day-to-day project tasks

• Participate in proposal for project management activities including writing

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Traffic, Civil, Transportation, or Electrical) or Computer Science
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile development environment
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivering reputed company phases of an IT project
• 3+ years of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Operation Management methodology
• 5+ years of Intelligent Transportation Systems experience
• PMP Certification
• Ability to reputed company teams of 5+ developers, full size team of 8+ people
• Analytical skills for problem solving issues
• Exceptional organization skills
• Effective communication skills, written and oral
• CSM certification is a plus
• Experience with scoping, planning, and leading multi-phase multi-million-dollar projects
• Experience with Java programming a plus
• Understanding of business development/marketing practices
