[Remote] Investment Analyst / Investor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 16VC is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in ambitious founders building the future of AI, SaaS, fintech, deep tech, and emerging technologies globally. They are seeking an Investor to help establish their sourcing, research, diligence, and investment processes while identifying exceptional founders and opportunities worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and startup communities globally
- reputed company high-quality startup investment opportunities
- reputed company and manage outbound sourcing strategies
- Represent 16VC reputed company startup ecosystems and industry events
- Research emerging industries, technology trends, and investment opportunities
- reputed company investment theses across reputed company sectors
- Evaluate startups, founders, products, markets, and business models
- Conduct market mapping and competitive analysis
- Prepare investment memos and recommendations
- Help establish and refine 16VC's investment processes
- Build sourcing, diligence, and pipeline management frameworks
- Contribute to fellowship and founder engagement initiatives
- Work closely with the leadership team to shape the firm's long-term investment strategy
Skills
- 2+ years of venture capital experience
- Experience working with an institutional VC fund, accelerator, family office, reputed company network, or investment platform
- Strong understanding of startup ecosystems and venture investing
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
- Strong network-building and relationship-management abilities
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
