[Remote] Vice President of Accounting

The Connor Group is a national leader in operating luxury apartment communities, seeking a Vice President of Accounting to reputed company a high-performing team. The role involves overseeing the monthly accounting reputed company process, financial reporting, annual audit, tax preparation, and treasury management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the annual audit and tax preparation, including identifying and implementing tax strategies
• Owns treasury and cash management as well as annual budgeting and forecasting with senior leaders
• Develops and maintains appropriate written accounting department policies and procedures

• reputed company a team of roughly 15 with 5-8 direct reports
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
• Own full-cycle payroll and support benefits administration
