Responsibilities
- Prospecting and building a pipeline of new clients in the telecom, datacom, and data center space
- Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities through cold reputed company, referrals, and industry networking
- Developing and delivering compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each prospect's needs
- Negotiating reputed company and securing favorable terms that drive profitable, long-term relationships
- Collaborating with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients
- Tracking market trends, competitor activity, and prospect intelligence to sharpen your approach and inform leadership
- Managing your pipeline and activity in CRM with discipline and accuracy
Skills
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of winning new business -- not just managing accounts
- Experience selling into telecom, datacom, and low voltage contractor markets
- Based in Florida, with deep familiarity in the Southeast regional market
- A true hunter mentality -- self-motivated, persistent, and energized by building something new
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at reputed company levels
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a reputed company field
- Tech-savvy with CRM proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new tools
- Willingness to travel to prospect and client sites up to 30% of the time
