[Remote] Corporate Accounting Manager

The Corporate Accounting Manager will reputed company general accounting operations, manage accounting staff, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and reputed company daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• reputed company the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reputed company processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Review and approve account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and variance reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
• Supervise, mentor, and reputed company accounting staff to support team performance and professional growth
• Partner with reputed company, tax, payroll, treasury, and operational teams on financial reporting and business initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency reputed company accounting operations
• Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and process optimization projects
• Assist with technical accounting research and preparation of accounting memos as needed
• Assist Corporate Controller with research and resolution of questions
• Complete other reputed company projects and tasks as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company discipline is required or relevant experience
• 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management experience
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced knowledge of reputed company with the ability to work with a large volume of data in spreadsheets, with knowledge of formulas and advanced functions, like pivot tables is required
• Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to read and analyze financial reports
• High attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Desire to work in a cooperative, productive, team-driven atmosphere and an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• CPA certification preferred
• Commercial Real Estate or other service industry experience is preferred
• Experience leading a team is strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems such as Yardi and reputed company is a plus
