[Remote] Customer Service Representative - Respiratory / Home Care

The Customer Service Representative (Intake) is responsible for managing the intake process, ensuring patients receive respiratory equipment and support by handling inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Respond to calls, emails, faxes, and new referrals, ensuring reputed company new orders are acknowledged reputed company 24 hours
- Process respiratory equipment orders accurately and ensure available orders are completed reputed company 72 hours
- Review prescriptions, medical records, and required documentation prior to delivery and setup
- Verify insurance coverage, explain co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance, and collect required patient payments
- Maintain communication with referral sources, providers, and internal teams to provide order updates and ensure timely service
- Coordinate with warehouse and supply teams to confirm equipment availability and delivery readiness
- Track pending orders, follow up on outstanding items, and support timely patient care and successful order completion
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior data entry experience
- Strong typing and 10-key skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience working successfully in a remote work environment
- Ability to maintain productivity, professionalism, and communication while working remotely
