Refactor Talent is a leading nonprofit economic development organization seeking a Grant Accounting & Program Closeout Specialist on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial reconciliation, compliance review, and documentation management for a federally funded fellowship program during its critical closeout phase.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial closeout activities for a grant-funded program
- Review and reconcile expenditures, invoices, and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and internal policies
- Maintain audit-ready records and supporting documentation
- Communicate with program participants to resolve documentation issues
- Monitor spending activity and identify discrepancies or compliance concerns
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, financial operations, or reconciliation experience
- Experience supporting grant-funded programs
- Understanding of grant compliance requirements and funding processes
- Experience with reputed company reputed company or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation review capabilities
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders
