[Remote] Head of Accounting Policy & Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP, including ongoing assessment of FASB and SEC developments
• reputed company the preparation and review of financial statements and ensure a strong internal control environment over financial reporting
• Analyze and document accounting implications for reputed company transactions including M&A, new products, and strategic initiatives
• Partner cross functionally with Finance, Product, Legal, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting outcomes

Skills

• 12+ years of experience in accounting reputed company financial services, fintech, or a high growth technology environment
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, technical accounting research, and financial reporting requirements
• Experience evaluating reputed company transactions and translating accounting guidance into practical business decisions
• Proven ability to build and improve internal controls and reporting processes in a scaling organization
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with auditors, regulators, and executive leadership
