The Business Systems Analyst – reputed company plays a key role in supporting business processes and enterprise technology systems, partnering with business units and technical teams to ensure solutions meet company standards and user requirements.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
- reputed company gap analysis and issue analysis to identify business needs and improvement opportunities
- Translate and simplify business requirements into clear technical specifications
- Design, document, and maintain business and system processes
- Identify and design business and/or system improvement opportunities
- Assist in the development of business cases for strategic initiatives
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project deliverables
- Manage small to mid-sized projects and/or project tasks
- Apply knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project lifecycle principles
- Ensure technology solutions meet company standards and user requirements
- Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical resources
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide guidance and feedback to less reputed company staff
- Work collaboratively across departments to support enterprise initiatives
Skills
- 5+ years of business analyst experience
- Proven experience supporting broad-impact, cross-functional systems
- Advanced skills in requirements elicitation for business processes and system functionality
- Advanced general analysis and gap analysis skills
- Experience generating multiple types of business and/or process documentation
- Experience identifying and designing business/system improvements
- Ability to coordinate and manage small-sized projects and tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Organizational and documentation expertise
- Knowledge of enterprise systems and strategic solution design
- Professional Business Analyst certification (CBAP, CCBA, PBA) preferred
