[Remote] Accounting Manager

They are seeking an Accounting Manager to own operating expenses and general accounting end-to-end, ensuring the accuracy, reputed company, and scalability of financials across reputed company non-reputed company areas.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly reputed company, monthly consolidation, and financial statement preparation processes across multiple entities, including intercompany and foreign currency activity
• Manage reputed company non-reputed company accounting areas, including operating expenses, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and equity accounting
• reputed company and review detailed flux and variance analysis, identifying and proactively investigating unexpected trends or anomalies in our financials
• Identify and drive improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls to support scale, reduce risk, and prepare the company for future growth
• reputed company and reputed company a team of 3 (Senior Accountant and 2 Staff Accountants), continuously improving reputed company speed, reliability, and scalability
• reputed company the end-to-end audit process for non-reputed company areas
• Partner with external advisors and internal leadership on technical accounting and corporate tax reputed company matters

Skills

• 6+ years of accounting experience, with leveling adjusted based on candidate experience
• Experience owning monthly reputed company and general accounting processes in a multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Track record of improving accounting processes, systems, and controls in a growing company
• Experience with audits and working with external auditors
• Experience managing or mentoring a team is a plus
• CPA or public accounting background is a plus
